DIY Tattoo heart with scroll flash Birthday cakes

A few weeks ago I was asked to make a quick cake for some girls who were celebrating their birthday and bring it along to their Roller Derby fundraiser. I did'nt have much time as it was one of those busy weeks and crazy days, so I made a quick double heart scroll tatoo cake with some matching cupcakes which had the birthday girls names on them.
The tattoo flash cupcakes turned out so cute  I think they could be used for so many celebrations, especially an engagement party or a wedding. All I did was frost the cupcake, cut out some pink fondant with a heart shape cutter, used some strips of white fondant for the scroll, then used an edible black marker for the script writing. If I had more time the writing would have been neater but oh well, time is always my enemy lol This really is such an easy DIY for anyone to add some rock'n'roll to their party.

For the main cake, I made one chocolate heart & one vanilla heart and placed them together by cutting out one of the sides to fit. I threw on some frosting and decorated quickly with some plain white fondant, sprinkles and icing.

Above is a photo of myself (middle) with my niece & her friend who is in the derby team.
